2 2/3 cups flour
120 g unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 egg
1/3 cup molasses/honney
1/2 tsp each of cinnamon, ginger, allspice, nutmeg, cloves
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla paste

Wet ingredients: cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg, honey, and vanilla and incorporate it well.
Step 2
Dry ingredients: to the flour add the salt, baking soda, spices and mix to incorporate all the ingredients. Add the dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix well.

Wrap the dough in plastic wrap & chill for 1.5 hours.
Step 4
Roll and cut the dough in desired shapes. Bake in preheated oven at 350 F for 10-15 minuntes. Let them cool completely on a wire rack and decorate with icing.

Separate egg whites from yolks. Mix whites until fluffy.
Step 2
To the egg yolks add the rest of the ingredients and mix until they are throughly incorporated. Now add the egg whites and mix well.

Cook pancakes in a nonstick skillet on medium heat. Serve with maple syrup and fresh fruit of your choice.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

Wet ingredients: cream together butter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended.
Step 3
Dry ingredients: combine flour, baking soda and salt. Stir into the banana mixture; stir just to moisten. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
Step 4
Bake in preheated oven for 60 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Let banana bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.
